EXHIBITION "FLOS FERRI"
A mountain, a place and its inhabitants, including their real and fictional stories, become the starting point for a new creation myth about the Styrian ore rock and the artist's plastic worlds. The Styrian iron blossoms have mutated. Due to another mysterious appearance (this time in a female form), this previously unknown variation was found during the daily 10 a.m. blast on July 19, 2017 and documented with the local geologist. They are now drifting directly out of the ore rock in steel outgrowths and are therefore resistant to current mining methods. In the alchemical laboratory of the Institute for Extensible Terms, they are now treated with light and energy. Interestingly, new animal-vegetative forms of life with metallic characteristics emerge, although it is unclear how these will develop further. Well-known geochemists from Graz University of Technology are considering the transformation of the ore into metallic outgrowths and the people of Eisenerz already sing about the spectacular story in the newly invented Eisenblüten yodel.

Ein Berg, ein Ort und dessen Bewohner samt ihren realen und fiktiven Geschichten, werden zum Ausgangspunkt eines neuen Schöpfungsmythos rund um das steirische Erzgestein und die plastischen Welten der Künstlerin. Die steirischen Eisenblüten sind mutiert. Aufgrund einer erneuten mysteriösen Erscheinung (diesmal in weiblicher Gestalt) wurde diese bis dato unbekannte Variation bei der täglichen 10 Uhr Sprengung am 19.07.2017 aufgefunden und mit dem lokalen Geologen dokumentiert. Sie treiben nun direkt in Stahlauswüchsen aus dem Erzgestein heraus und sind somit resistent gegen die gegenwärtigen Abbaumethoden. Im alchemistischen Labor des Instituts für dehnbare Begriffe werden sie nun mit Licht und Energie weiterbehandelt. Interessanterweise entstehen dabei neue animalisch-vegetative Lebensformen von metallischer Charakteristik, wobei offen ist wie sich diese weiter entwickeln werden. Namhafte Geochemiker der TU-Graz stellen Überlegungen zur Transformation des Erzes in metallische Auswüchse an und die Eisenerzer Bevölkerung besingt die spektakuläre Geschichte schon im neu erfundenen Eisenblüten Jodler.
