Das Feuer der Kohle macht Eisen zum formbaren Werkstoff, der scheinbar schwerelos vom Wind bewegt werden kann. Die Skulptur erscheint wie das Doppelspiel von zwei Skizzen, die in den Raum gezeichnet werden. Durch Lagerung, Spiel mit dem Gleichgewicht und Ausschmieden des Eisens zu einer feinen Linie erscheint der Werkstoff plötzlich leicht und bewegt sich im Wind. Die Kraft des Windes lässt die Linie im Himmel schweben. Im Zusammentreffen von moderner Lagerungs-Technik mit der archaischen Technik des Schmiedens entstehen räumliche Linien, die sich immer wieder zu neuen Zeichen verwandeln und je nach Blickwinkel ihr Spiel mit der Linie des Horizonts treiben.

The fire of coal makes iron a malleable material that can seemingly weightlessly moved by the wind. The sculpture appears like the double play of two sketches that are drawn in the room. Through storage, playing with the balance and forging the iron into a fine line, the material suddenly appears light and moves in the wind. The force of the wind makes the line float in the sky. In the meeting of modern storage technology with the archaic technology of forging, spatial lines emerge, which constantly transform into new symbols and, depending on the perspective, play their game with the line of the horizon.
